Dell Technologies HPC Community Event
About the Event
Altair has a rich, 35-year history of continuous innovation that has culminated in its current focus on providing solutions that enable improved decision making through the convergence of engineering simulation, high-performance computing (HPC), and artificial intelligence (AI). Altair Simulation software enables computer-aided engineering (CAE) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) ranging from model-based systems design and early geometry ideation all the way through detailed multi-physics, optimization, and manufacturing simulation.
In parallel, Altair’s HPC solutions have risen to become the most comprehensive and accessible software for both end-users and system admins. Now with a fully managed, private HPC cloud for engineering simulation and digital manufacturing, Altair is bringing the benefits of both solutions to engineers and IT teams looking for one complete package. Through the Dell Technologies Engineered Solutions program, CAE users can now experience a turn-key HPC solution tailored specifically for engineering workloads and delivered as a fully managed appliance from Altair.
This Dell OEM solution includes unlimited access to Altair’s broad portfolio of engineering simulation software, HPC workload and resource management tools, state of the art 2nd Generation Xeon processors from Intel, and full HPC system administration support. The Altair Access™ web-portal interface and remote desktop capabilities coupled with GPUs enables full remote capability, including support for work-from-home users.
Join us as we discuss how this partnership is taking the complexity out of HPC, bringing high-powered simulation to every engineer and enabling organizations like Ping Golf and Royal Enfield to supercharge their product development efforts, reduce cost, and bring products to market faster.
